Flex Workspace
The built-in desk occupies a former closet alcove
With the workspace now more than ever an integral part of the home, how can we re-think the design of the ‘home office’? Why can’t we wear it many ways, like a reversible jacket? Why shouldn’t it be the best part of the house, given how much time we spend there? Constructed in a niche formerly occupied by an inefficient closet, this project prioritizes the desk as a flexible, multi-functional piece of furniture - permanently on display at the front of the house.
